New Zealand v India, 2nd Test, Napier, 4th day
India 305 and 252 for 2 (Gambhir 102*, Dravid 62, Tendulkar 58*) trail New Zealand 619 for 9 by 62 runs- Gambhir's unbeaten 102 was the pick of the day for India.
- It was a tough, combative performance from India's batsmen while New Zealand were disciplined, rather than dangerous, and gave away only 205 runs in the day.
- Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar weighed in with crucial innings, and the fact that New Zealand's only wicket today was because of an umpiring error was indicative of India's control.
