Talks between IPL and Sony failed, so they are looking for a new broadcaster for this season- It is being heard by the Bombay High Court
- Reason quoted was Multi Screen Media Pvt Ltd (MSM) wants non terminable contract from IPL which comes under sony umbrella, IPL failed to negotiate with SONY for this reason
- Sony had leased rights for sub continent from WSG the global rights holder
- Sony had disputes with IPL for Financial terms, revised dates and even some new venues
